The magware has bugs, it doesn't work properly.
The version that's shipped with previous magazines has issues.

The 32bit VST2
Old Beat file version 1.0.2.0 MD5 00A9A837B805DB04572862430A1674CD
DDMF current file version 1.0.6

TDR NOVA can be used as a channel strip because of all the features it has, except a limiter because it uses RMS compression instead of peak compression.

My mistake, the opto comp is inside the more recent NastyVCS, not the older NastyCS. But I really like the Neve curves in the older one.

Do you know if there is a change log? At Beat Magazin they don't seem to be aware of newer versions than 1.0.2.

Despite the good recommendations here in this thread I - frankly put - do not think that is the case at all, no. While you do not have to spend a fortune the stuff mentioned here can hardly compete with most of the commercial stuff not to mention the best of it. Feel free (no pun intended) to disagree, but I think you are in danger of fooling yourself there.

For about the 1000th time I once again hit quote instead of edit. Why Ben, why?
