How about having five guys, each one speaking in a different language and make them order a specific meal in a language they don't speak? Does that say anything about the quality of their own language? NO
Pointless, just to stir up a useless arguments who's DAW is the best?

it's like music magazine whose editor is payed for advertisers to promote there products.
Even bad products get a score of 8/10. so I stop purchasing this kind of mags.
Editors are paid for each product they talk about.
That's not an objective view but marketing strategy.

Videos and magazines have their own agenda, either watch more (mo' money) or sell more magazines (more advertising and mag income = mo' money). As pointed out above, online reviews are complicated by the fact that a lot of them have hidden sponsors so are not really impartial. Still useful but the end score often needs to be taken with a pinch of salt. Even if all the reviews you see were impartial, it's still one person's opinion, admittedly a more experienced one than most. How many reviews have you read that completely miss out a key feature you love? Or a product that receives 8/10 but you would give a 10/10 and that's in comparison to other products that they have given 10/10 to, that you also own?

Jesus, people. It's just fun. It's not meant to prove anything, other than perhaps that talented people will do something good even in a DAW they've no clue about, i.e. the Cubase and S1 videos, IMO.

This one was frustrating. Does he even use Cubase? He didn’t know what the different automation modes were or what metronome was. Those are like the meat and portages of any DAW. I get not know how to do certain things in a new interface but not knowing, but this guy looks like he needs to figure how to use Cubase let alone Bitwig.

Yes. Especially because he claims to have watched many Bitwig videos before.apoclypse wrote: Sun Jan 17, 2021 3:29 pmThis one was frustrating. Does he even use Cubase? Start with Nate from Protoculture trying FL. This one's hillarious at how frustrated and resigned he is trying to make it work

This is actually a really funny video. The breakbeat track sounds great too!

Yep and imo he made the best sounding song of the bunch too. Mostly because he didn't complain and just got on with it. The guy stuck with FLStudio just complained the whole time.risemix wrote: Wed Jan 20, 2021 11:12 pm As a Studio One user I had a feeling the guy stuck with it would be all right. It's really easy to use.

Maybe they should call this contest "the top 5 guys on the internet who haven't discovered the fine art of right-clicking"?
