Hi, has anyone managed to get the Mac port (https://steffensennert.de/cloud-seed-plugin-for-mac/) working on a M1 Mac?
Strangely, it did work via de AU thing, and I got it working in Ableton 11 but yesterday I decided to go back to this little gem and for some reason it couldn't load the GUI or produce any sound. The strange part is that I did not change or update my system in any way since it worked, nor was the plugin updated.
Reinstalling and a fresh rescan didn't change things. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Miguel.

btw, if I load Ableton using rosetta it does work - but this wasn't necessary before.

Cloudseed is absolutely fantastic. One of the reverbs I keep around.

Btw. kinda sad you stopped development on the synth. I really like your interface and as I wrote cloudseeds great!valdiorn wrote: Wed Jun 17, 2020 11:49 pm heya - developer here.
Just wanted to point out that there is a feature which indirectly adds white noise to the output, this happens if you set the Interpolation parameter to Off. This effectively means the sample "read head" jumps between samples, and does not interpolate between them when it's positioned half-way between two samples. This can produce quite a cool effect as it results in Noise being produced inside the feedback loop of the reverb tank, which can thicken up the sound and make it more "washy".
If you don't like it or it isn't applicable to your needs, turn Interpolation on![]()

resurrection time, there´s a new fork of this fine reverb here, in case - like me - you were nor aware of:
https://github.com/xunil-cloud/CloudReverb
also, the one mentioned before ( https://github.com/HolyBimBam/CloudSeed_AU_VST3 ) seems to be working now (Mac Sequoia, Bitiwig 5 and Ableton 12), but appears to be less stable and a bit more resource hungry. The sound is also slightly different for the same presets - but need to dig deeper.
none of them seems to be apple signed, so on a Mac you have to do the sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/ <plugin_name>.vst3 thing first.
all in all, fine FX for ambient stuff.

A dream reverb for every serious LINUX user.
You can be creative in any right place on Earth, and not only in the wealthiest cities. Bring the world feelings from everywhere, and not only feelings of capitalistic or jail environment.

CloudReverb is a fantastic reverb. I have even made a YT video showcasing the plugin.
