Dude. So WHAT did you pay for WHICH plugins and from WHOM? Those things are all involved in the calculated upgrade price. We can guess all day long at what "happened", but you are the only one who has the information to solve this.

What's so difficult about giving Melda your account info??

why tf is he complaining then? It's obviously a bug in his account then - if that's their policy and the value didn't get counted towards his purchases it's obviously A BUG and not a policy issues with the developer, which can only be solved by contacting the developer and asking them wtf is going on.

And some people said freebie mturbocomp counted as 50% off towards their money spent...

Now if you had contacted them and said “i bought so many plugs and they don’t count toward my money spent, why” and they replied “f**k you” i’d say f**k them.
As it stands now, not everyone experiences what you have, its not their policy, and most importantly you refused to contact them about it in the first place.

This one is on you. Until you contact them and come back with their reply, we can assume its a bug because of the aforementioned reasons

Interesting read. Just my 2ct from the outside as a non Meldaproduction plugin owner. Shitty attitude from either side incl. a mob with only a few ones pushing it to the limit. I think it was a legitimate question to ask in the first place though not contacting support later on is a fail. The same fail as the lack of interest from the developer side or the "you're angry and now I won't care for your problem anymore" mindset. This is unfortunately what gets remembered.

I don't think it's rocket science to send a support mail. I don't think it's rocket science either to list all customers from germany not owning the MEssentialsFXBundle and only missing MAutoDynamicEq as an upgrade path (that shrinks down the amount of people enormously), quickly "logging in" with their accounts to see the upgrade paths and prices. Approx an hour of work!?

For now you also only know of this one becuase it is a hardcore edge case, but that doesn't mean it doesn't apply to others too, maybe only not that obvious. Seeing the dev answering he doesn't know speaks for itself and that is the big problem I see. It's about sensitive topics - the invested money spent on their products and different "classes" of customers. It should be in his interest to get these issues out of the way and even if it can't be solved for this one guy, get a proper statement out for readers of this topic.

If the upgrade system really works for all others like confirmed a dozen times, then this is clearly not a bug but intended behavior. The only good faith excuse could be unfortunate circumstances that lead to it, but not an error on the website. I agree it would be better this topic gets pushed by proper posts from the involved sides instead of a few users bashing each other, making this issue more bloated and making it feel more scammy.

OK so, I'm closing this thread. No need to make this any longer... Just some cents:

- If you have a problem, try contacting the support instead of making a hate thread...

- Some people misused my "I don't know" - what I don't know is what licences the OP has, because he didn't contact the support in the first place, so I'm only imagining what could go wrong.

- Upgrades are normally possible. Cross-grades only in special cases, such as MPowerSynth -> MSoundFactory. We try to make everything as cheap as possible while maining a reasonable business, plus lifetime updates, plus any number of computers... but apparently that's still not enough for some, who want some special treatment because of overlapping bundles, which we again made just because people asked for that, since they wanted something cheap :D...

I'm really trying to be fair to everyone and provide everything as cheap as possible, but there are some limits. And in any case, if you want something extra, you should ask for it. I'm not giving people stuff for hating...
