Did some testing on Ubuntu Studio and 2.1 works perfect, no issues noted.

suddenly crashes...

mac osx mojave, logic 10.5.1, mac mini 2012 i7 16gb ram, regular skin

complete crashes with crashlogs when
closing hive plugin window
browsing presets clicking on the adv button

not 100% exactly repeatable but some sort of common behaviour might be:
insert hive as instrument
click through some presets
change to preset browser
go to (presetbrowsers) user dir and select a user preset (i.e.: one of myown)
close preset browser
click to advance (own) presets

now,
click to adv button -> crash
or
click on pluginwindow-close button -> crash

Also, something I prefer in the old UI was that I could immediately change filter cutoff value (for example) after adjusting its modulation value in the mod matrix. Now, I have to make sure the orange light is inactive by clicking a random place in the main UI if I want to change filter cutoff, otherwise clicking the filter cutoff knob changes the modulation amount instead, which is annoying. A way to make it so you can distinguish between clicks on the orange curve-line vs clicks on the cutoff knob itself would be preferred, which I think is how it was before.

You can still edit the parameter itself... use the edge of the knob and you will edit the parameter... use the middle and you will edit mod depth. Both are always available even if the source is selected.

I don't like the "Pos" knob in the WT window. Nice idea but it's an eyesore imo.

+1 The graphs are already small, and now they are obstructed by this knob too...there has to be another way to do this.

Agreed. That WT circle is distracting. The simple line below worked great for me, don’t see a reason to change it.

I came hear to ask a question about the Cookbook and then I see this update to my favourite tool I will still Finish my Bazille schooling before diving into this however. It's a thing now. It started in the Instruments forum a few weeks ago. Apparently someone checks where I make a post and then enjoys going through every single post thereafter to vote it down. At HQ we call them the thumbs-down stalker. They got more than one account, so we might see a wave of double or triple thumbs down. Probably a Trumper with a lot of time on their hands now.

Yeah the ring looks gnarly. Horizontal slider is a much better solution considering the area available.
