Hello,
A TRACKTION tech sent me an updated release 11.2 to solve a problem.
It solved the problem BUT....
The bottom right menu block has been revamped - and will be in the upcoming release.
I need to use CLIPBOARD/INSERT AFTER HIGHLIGHTED CLIP, where I am editing the words of a 1995 book narration by cut-and-paste of other words in that narration. (I cannot re-record because my voice has changed over the years).
NOW there is no CLIPBOARD and I can't find INSERT AFTER HIGHLIGHTED CLIP.
Can someone please help me find it or create a script?
Thank you.
Possible Macro help needed urgently!

I'm not using 11.2 yet, but I'm not seeing this option, either.
The clipboard is in the lower left of 11.1, and there's no option there like you're describing.
Do you mean "Paste (after selected)"?
I looked to see if there was already a keyboard shortcut for this option, but I'm not seeing it in the Settings menu.
I think we need an 11.2 user to help you here.

Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and even Deezer, whatever the hell Deezer is.

Well he's right that the clipboard option is no longer there. Is the clipboard in general gone? I never actually used the clipboard so I'm not sure what an alternative might be. I did notice you can still 'add comps to clipboard' though, I'm not super familiar with that either.
Trying to understand what you are doing,
So you are putting words in the clipboard and then trying to quickly paste them together to create sentences, using the 'paste after selected clip option' which is now gone?
I'm kinda stumped, I would say use the 'files' menu to grab clips, but you'd probably have to spend a lot of time setting it up (getting the words all exported to files) and it'd still be clunkier.
Surely there is a macro that could do this (assuming there's still a clipboard) but I do not know how to do that. You could also use the cursor, like "move cursor to end of clip' then 'paste', but again if the clipboard is really gone then maybe you are just outta luck.
I'd also ask what it was that the new beta fixed that you needed? It seems like you could just use a previous version.

Doesn't Ctrl-V work? If I select Clip A and Ctrl-C then I select Clip B and press Ctrl-V the copied clip appears right after Clip B.
EDIT: There is a related setting at Settings -> General -> Edit called "Paste at edit cursor". If that's turned on, the "paste after selected clip" doesn't work.

Surely there must be consensus by now...
