You mean an option for the highpass section to be a lowpass and the possibility of a parallel routing? I'll ponder about it.surreal wrote: Sun Jan 31, 2021 6:38 amHi Urs,Urs wrote: Sat Jan 30, 2021 10:39 am We won't have a new synth or effect for a while, in order to improve and update what we've already got. Mind you, I'm surely itching for something new, too. Last year I almost went through with Yet-Another-Minimoog-Emulation after I got annoyed by the choices some manufacturers made. This will however become part of a Diva update rather than a product on its own. Not sure.
Would it be possible to include a dual filter option into diva one day?
New desire

Hi Hakey... how would I do This?hakey wrote: Sun Jan 31, 2021 12:04 pm Two stacked voices with voicemap and stackindex adjusting filter amounts gets parallel filtering, albeit fed by separate oscillators.

That would do, but with resonance. . Maybe use one of the "lighter" cpu efficient filter types that is used in zebra or Hive or a lighter filter type that when you turn up the resonance on the lowpass the bass is not reduced like a moog ladder type filter... and then eventhough it is in the Dark Zebra.. yhe polymoog resonator will round off Diva quite nice!!... anyway let me not distract you further.. however something that would be so cool would be like a URS multiplex where you could take any UHE Synth plug it in to the rack and route any oscillator through any filter.. something like a MeGA bazille or Ace modular but only for the owners of all the synths.. haha.. ok ok I will stop and look forward to Zebra 3Urs wrote: Sun Jan 31, 2021 10:06 amYou mean an option for the highpass section to be a lowpass and the possibility of a parallel routing? 1. Set voice stack to 2 (or more).
2. Select 'Stackindex' or 'Voicemap' in one of the cutoff mod slots.
3. Experiment with different amounts of mod depth. If using 'Voicemap', adjust the Voice Map Modulator in the Trimmers page.
For two voices, setting Vol Mod to StackIndex in the amplifier section and turning the knob hard right or left allows each voice to be isolated.
VoiceMap and StackIndex can be sent to any mod destination for all sorts of parallel voice effects.

the ability to have two independent filter blocks instead of fixed HP+LP, a third envelope, and replacing all the lag/add/etc sections with an easy mod matrix type system like hive would basically be my dream update for a diva 2 (alongside an extra module or three... hey maybe the LFOs could themselves be made into swappable modules that could be mod envelope, lfo, or function generator...)Urs wrote: Sun Jan 31, 2021 10:06 am You mean an option for the highpass section to be a lowpass and the possibility of a parallel routing? That sounds good! Add a comb filter and a polymoog resonator and Diva is completed!!MitchK1989 wrote: Tue Feb 02, 2021 3:09 amthe ability to have two independent filter blocks instead of fixed HP+LP, a third envelope, and replacing all the lag/add/etc sections with an easy mod matrix type system like hive would basically be my dream update for a diva 2 (alongside an extra module or three... hey maybe the LFOs could themselves be made into swappable modules that could be mod envelope, lfo, or function generator...)Urs wrote: Sun Jan 31, 2021 10:06 am You mean an option for the highpass section to be a lowpass and the possibility of a parallel routing? I know they probably aren't big sellers, but I don't suppose this includes the REALLY old stuff (MFM and Filterscape)?Urs wrote: Sat Jan 30, 2021 10:39 am We won't have a new synth or effect for a while, in order to improve and update what we've already got.
I mean at this point I own all of your instruments other than repro (my cpu sucks) and also own filterscape and uhbik so honestly it would be hard for you to make any updates that wouldn't appeal to me unless it was just satin 2 followed by satin 3 followed by satin 4, etc

Updates for MFM2 and Filterscape are currently rather cosmetic (new UI, more modern underpinnings, preset system etc.). Wether or not we have the time to add new features remains to be seen. That said, our internal builds of MFM2 have a granular pitch shifter available for the feedback effects (think Uhbik-G).

Those updates sound yummy already. Just a new UI will breathe fresh life into those oldies

I'd just love a pristine mode for Bazille. It's hands down my fav synth, but I often wonder how my patches would sound without Baz lovely temper and inherent grit. Blame that wish on the cristal clear .uhm FM hehe
I also dream about Z3 being able to dynamically shift partials when using its additive OSCs, the way Razor and Harmor can. Damn I can't wait for Zebra 3, no matter what.
