Route One Conrtoller's Two Individual MIDI Channels to Two Different Applications

AKAI MPKmini MKII. Pads on one channel and keys on the other.
I want my pads for cuing in Mixxx and my keys for playing in Ableton.
Additionally, I could eventually switch programs on my controller to be able to play drums with the pads as well within the same performance.
That would be so sick.
Possible with Jack and LoopMIDI?

Never used Jack, but I do such with Plogue Bidule and loopmidi...
The multiple app conflict is often about the audio interface, Jack may help there...

I didn't know Plogue Bidule could do such a thing, but I just managed with Jack.
I'll write down the whole procedure when I get the chance.
