Well I don't normally purchase plugins without first demoing them but at only $69 it wasn't any risk in this case.

I've got Warlock installed but my ears are tired so I'm going to go at it hard tomorrow with fresh ears. I did flip through a few presets and I can already tell that I don't regret the purchase. Should be a lot of fun to patch. I'll formulate a more complete opinion tomorrow.

For AnX I got this:

Warlock 020321-1.png

Even resizing the plugin in another DAW does not allow Warlock to have that same size in Orion. But it may not matter depending on your monitor size/resolution. The default size is quite adequate but I like to use larger sizes especially when patching.

Resize works just fine in Cakewalk, Reaper and FL Studio. :tu:

I have tested it several times and the results are not bad.
It produces different sound categories ( from Fx to Pad to Strings to Plucked to Leads to Percussion/Drums etc.).
If you get a results, after pressing it for maybe 10 times, you might have to tweak a bit on the filters or envelopes and effects or change an oscilator type.
All in all it's an inspirating feature which gives astonishing results which you never got when tweaking parameters the conventional way.
this is sounding promising thx :)

Would be nice to have some more classic sound examples, without everything filtered to unrecognizability. ;)
Hey i'm aware it is not pro to record some improvisations and to use like 5 layers for base and to boost lower freqs leaving a treble 'hole',just want it to rec something for the people who want to see it.
Today will demo the original project i work making my soundbanks with balanced freq spectrum.
Cheers:)

i'm not going to ________ < ---- >

..for reasons that are not to be shared, my keybord playing capabilities are somewhat limited for the time being and i could either do MIDI clips and just unzip trough presets or build a few projects and try to play with those limitations..

For that reason i'm prefering to play trough presets in the context of a track.

Naturally single presets are easier to mix then 4-5 presets, more when played live....
i can asure you, presets on their own sound "cleaner" and at least in my demos surelly "louder"..... wich as most of you knows changes the spatial and frequency perception of the sounds

probably later today i'll play around with presets and try to show warlock features in a more detailed way and then probably a few "single_r" presets short playaround too..

A pure preset walktrough i'm not sure i'm able to right now, at least not the best way ..

Okay I think I'm gonna purchase this for the GUI and randomizer alone. I don't own any tone2 stuff and I really should fix that (thought about getting either icarus or electra but spaced and forgot to demo during the last big sale).

As someone who had never bought a tone2 product before I am mightily impressed. Would not usually buy anything without a trial but did so as found out markus made vanguard which was my favourite for a long time. Still got to deep dive into this more but can see it being used an awful lot as it sounds great and is easy to create patches quickly.

Post

Can someone share (in PM to avoid an offtop) some materials on this type of synthesis used in Warlock?

Post

Check Firebird. Should be the same.

Bought.

Does Tone2 have anything that sounds like Vanguard?

i like it! refreshing! Nice Markus!

Quick video again from me,used some cakewalk fx and fktp mix somehow :)
I'm trying to assemble a decent mix from few old songs, but will take time.
Warlock have huge sound stage, added to any track sound become really fat.
Cheers :)
