Midi problem (bug?), playback contains artefacts (pickups)

While recording the playback of my first midi-channel sometimes shows unexpected behaviour.
There is nothing wrong with the midi notes, but the playback has additional tones like pickups.
The midi instrument is a vst (mini grand by air). I have to record the channel again to get it right.
This happens regularly.
