Weird bounce behaviour in Studio One 5

I'm having this weird issue when bouncing anything from my hardware synths when the MIDI starts at 1.1.1, it is always missing the first 2 beats. If I move the same MIDI to the right on the timeline then it bounces perfectly.
PS: I'm not using the Crave's internal sequencer, this is MIDI from S1 playing.

Which method you're using? Have you tried Mixdown Selection instead?

What is a value of the Bar Offset parameter? [MAIN MENU] Song -> Song Setup -> Bar offset.

It's at 0. I just tried some different values, both negative and positive, but the result stays the same.Vee Nee wrote: Sat Feb 20, 2021 8:13 am What is a value of the Bar Offset parameter? [MAIN MENU] Song -> Song Setup -> Bar offset.

Well, then it's probably a bug
Lots of people complain about MIDI in S1, although personally - knock on wood! - I never had any issues.
File a bug ticket from your user account. Their support is pretty good & responsive.

This might be totally off, but do you have pre-count or pre-roll enabled? Do they do anything?

They are both disabled and enabling them makes no difference.antic604 wrote: Sat Feb 20, 2021 8:20 amThis might be totally off, but do you have pre-count or pre-roll enabled? Do they do anything?

Try Options / Advanced / Audio / Ignore audio device timestampsReefius wrote: Sat Feb 20, 2021 8:29 amThey are both disabled and enabling them makes no difference.

Then I'm out of ideas. Sorry
I assume bouncing plugins in this same situation works fine?
Also, how is audio coming into S1 - via USB or through an audio interface?

Audio comes in through a Steinberg UR44 audio interface. Bouncing plugins indeed works fine.
Studio One also doesn't seem to have any latency compensation when using external hardware. I always need to manually adjust the delay parameter in the track Inspector. Ableton Live, Bitwig, Cubase and even NI Maschine do this automatically.

Is that the case even if you use the new Aux Channels stuff?Reefius wrote: Sat Feb 20, 2021 1:47 pmStudio One also doesn't seem to have any latency compensation when using external hardware. I will try to replicate this and report back.
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.
