Hello,
I've been digging into the Gui designer that is a real plus value and a time saver!
However, excepted an error from my part, I'm  missing the ability to enter manually the values of dimensions and positions of a control,  Especially when importing custom image because some functions will not work if the dimensions are not respected.

I've seen that some control like the knob have a height overwrite. Could we hope to have a width and height overwrite for every control plus being able to enter positions value manually?

You can alt drag to keep dimensions of an alement while resizing.

Also you can use the arrow keys to move elements or alt + arrow keys to resize elements (with the given grid size, I guess) and also use ctrl as a modifier to disable the grid and go pixel per pixel (while moving or resizing with the arrow keys).

Hi tagirijus

Yes i saw this in the tuto, but i had trouble with a image that was imported in the wrong dimensions from the start. With some i've managed getting them at the right height by resizing little by little with the mouse.
same for the position, you will eventually end up having your control in the right place using the mouse coupled with arrow keys for a pixel per pixel mouvement.

But being able to directly write your value would be a direct and simpler way to do it if you already know what you want?

Either this was a bug or there might be something wrong with the image, maybe? I never had such a problem that something was imported with wrong dimensions. (If you can reproduce it, it might be an idea to start a bug report).

Could become handy, yeah. Still: the arrow-method is a nice thing to have in the meantime. At least to me. (-;

The image was working fine using xml but i'll will dig a little bit more to see if the problem doesn't come from me doing a mistake .
