Weird MIDI bug

Donät know if this has been mentioned before, but I have a pretty weird bug on my system: When playing on a midi-keyboard (an evolution mk249C2) all of a sudden in the middle of playing it changes from normal operation to playin the note when I hit the key AND the sam note one octave lower when I release the key. All goes back to normal if I save the project and restart Tracktion, but it's very irritating. Anyone else seen this? Any solutions? (oh btw, this is on my windows machine)

Never happened to me before. Does this happen when you record a midi sequence and is the lower note recorded as well?

Never had this happen either. Sorry. Maybe you should use one of those applications that displays all the midi data from your keyboard, that way you can see if its your controller malfunctioning and sending off some weird messages.

Yes it get's recorded aswell as when I am just playing. Once it's started the only solution is to restart tracktion, after wich everything is back to normal for a while. Additional note, I have found that it's not always an entire octave lower, sometimes it's a fourth or a fifth lower aswell. I tried MIDI-OX and it shows no weird things going on with my controller. It's never happened in any other app either.
