I will leave this info here, in case someone else needs it in the future.

To setup your Keystation with Waveform in Windows, you do not need any drivers, everything works out of the box, except the directional buttons and transport controls (the arrow buttons and play/stop/rec).

To get these to work, first press the "advanced button" on the Keystation to get the keyboard into edit mode (the blue LED will light up). Find the white key (it would normally play a sound) labelled "DAW". Press it until the LEDs under the octave + and - keys turn green (for Mackie Control mode). Confirm your choice by pressing the white key labelled "Enter". This will exit the edit mode (the blue LED beside the "advanced button" turns off).

These buttons communicate with the computer through a separate, 2nd device, MIDIIN2 (the manual calls it "Virtual Port 2"). Make sure you have both MIDI devices of the Keystation enabled inside waveform (Settings->MIDI Devices). If you are turning your Keystation on and off, or disconnecting in from the computer, its good to pop into that setting page just to make sure Waveform sees the keyboard again. Then go into Settings->Control Surfaces, select Mackie Control Universal from the list, and select your 2nd device as your input device bellow. The directional buttons and transport controls will now work.
