Metronome count in, skipped first beat

Hello, there is something wrong with the metronome and count in.

I am triyng to to ad-hoc recording in am empty portion of a project.

The first beat (after the count in) is sometimes skipped I thought it was because I was hitting a note right at the start after count in.

Even without the key on and with no playing overlap sometimes the first beat is skipped too and I can't really record..

I want to use the count in and to strike a note at the beginning of the measure.

Using last version of Mulab 8.6.26

This looks intermittent I am not able to reproduce it now....sorry

I assume the play line was positioned of-beat eg at 9.1.100 instead of 9.1.0.

OK so it is because the play line was stopped in between beats and/or that the compose grid wasn't set. I will pay attention here. Thanks
