That's a 2-finger horizontal swipe or Alt + mouse wheel. Frankly I never even noticed there's a scroll bar there 😉

I seriously need to check the shortcut more, thanks a lot !

Note Latch devices stop latching if you add another device to the channel. (I do a lot with drones...)

Worse: sometimes moving a MIDI CC fader causes a noisy pop/glitch with noticeable CPU hit, and if recording, it records the glitch too. No idea what that's about. Probably not an issue with my drivers because sometimes I can make it stop by fiddling with a bunch of settings, disabling MIDI on some channels, etc.

I really love the Bitwig studio but...
  • The mixer fader is too tiny too short.
  • Just want to hear the click sound only of the "pre count". No need "pre-play" when hitting the record button even if the note/audio existing before.

1. Often i have to play the track at least once as vsts often cause a stutter or glitch in playback on first play. win 10 pro, scarlet 6i6, i9900k 32gb ram, 3080 nvme & ssd
2. Note counter is bonkers, or is that just me?
3. track time envelopes, never really use this feature but when i accidentally change tempo during record, i then have to start a googling session of what, where, why and how to fix\remove it, put an envelope bar at top via main timeline or something to show this has happened and to edit it.
4. a bitwig version of harmor from flstudio would be a godsend (polysynth style, lfos etc with presets)
5. piano roll from flstudio, better selection and paste, scrollbars like flstudio, note range selection resize for whole time and note. needs to be a mix of what you got with flstudio and ableton's piano rolls.
6. blocks with grab points on corners, 1 pixel pickup mouse click zone is a pain (esp' @ 4k)
7. better komplete control m32 (whole series really) support
8. auto curve on line selection on envelopes, could make envelope editing better\smoother
9. sampler needs time stretch ++++
10. Navigation between tool modes is sometimes confusing
11. Piano roll highlight row your on when moving and adjusting...

Some may already be implemented just i dont know how to use it fully...

No undo in VST's. CMD+U will undo adding the VST. Uber annoying.

I meant Z not U, lol.

- Where is 1/8, 1/2 and triplets for adaptive grid?
- There is no way to know the length of time selection (or part of your song) in hh:min:sec.
- Ohh, these default piano roll settings. C5 and minimum vertical zoom everytime.
- No tempo sync in Oscilloscope

You just reminded me of another one:

triplet grid isn't saved with clip settings when you save clips

Lots of great UX issues/bugs reports there!

Here's mine that are mainly about the Arranger Window:

First and foremost:
- Ability to Solo multiple tracks!!

- Slicing Audio or Midi Clips (with a keyboard shortcut), doesn't work 1/3rd of the time

- Basic Copy & Paste command doesn't work 30-40% of the time within the Midi Editor and sometimes for Audio ir Midi Clips within the Arranger. It also seems like ctrl-c/v only works with the Pen tool. It should work whatever tool is selected.

Important as well:
- Bulk Editing is missing in many use case where the user's expecting it (there's actually a post about it with people explaining what's missing)

In serious need of Behavior Improvement:
- No playback from the place I selected initially when slicing some parts of a clip. It should understand I'm only pointing places to slice, or stretch or edit clips, not to move the Playback Cursor!! There definitely should be a "temporary" Transversal cursor meant for edits, and a "playback / main" Transversal curor for playback. Acid Pro solves this issue perfectly (and it's for this very feature why Acid was the manual Sample Chopping king)

- No quick drop-down menu (with little drawings of a Straight curve, a Smooth curve, Fast, Slow) to quickly change Fade-in/Out Curves. Cuz it's impossible to grab the tiny hovering area on the fade curve to change the curve with the mouse (and there's no option to draw a Smooth curve at all),

Last but not least:
- Fade Curves area don't snap to grid at all !!

This one is there already you'll be happy to know.
Select any random amount of tracks and the Information panel shows Mute, Solo etc. buttons, and these work as group record, Mute, Solo etc.

Yes indeed lots of Bulk Actions are only available from the Track Inspector.

Support said this was on purpose.
But many on KVR and Reddit agree these Bulk Actions should also be available in the Arranger View's Track Headers (come on Bitwig, this is really super basic workflow)

Hope Bitwig reads this thread. Many issues don't look too much time consuming to fix IMO.

- No triplet mode for input-record-quantize

the lack of Undo for changes made inside third-party plugins is a HUGE one for me, too.

There was a discussion in the u-he forum about what seemed like an utterly simple change. Urs mentioned that it was actually a lot of work. So we don't really know what might be easy or not in a given software.
