Platform: Studio One 5 Professional / Windows 10

I have MAutoPan inserted on a track that has events (clips) every couple of bars but is otherwise silent. No matter what I try, it appears that the plugin goes to sleep between each event and stops oscillating. I'm assuming this is due to intelligent sleep on silence.

It looks like intelligent sleep on silence is a global option for all plugins, correct? If my assumption is correct, is there a way to get MAutoPan to keep oscillating short of adding some sort of low-level noise between the events? I guess I could do that and automate the volume off.

Ideally, I'd like to be able to disable intelligent sleep for just MAutoPan.

Thanks

You can disable the "auto-sleep" feature for a single plugin instance. In some plugins the "auto-sleep" can introduce "confusions" (e.g. recording impulses with 2 Mconvolution--> impulse won´t play). But in cases when the default (auto sleep "on") doesn´t work, just turn it off. (in the settings --> there is a global AND a single plugin disable option!)

Still, i would say that auto-sleep default "on" is better than "off" in general.

Thank you! For some reason I was only able to see the global option. I guess I need better glasses. I absolutely agree that having the default be on is the right choice.

I didn ´t really was considering this as a bug... :? just a disadvantage of this feature. And also because of how easy it is to solve... just disable it.
