having issues with push 2 and beatstep pro

i have the latest moss's extension in the bitwig extension folder, push works fine but my beatsep pro is not sending midi to bitwig. Ideally i want push 2 as my controller and just now and again use BSP to make beats as its pretty easy. if i go to the midi input select in BW im not seeing BSP in the drop down menu anymore like i used to but i now get a generic flexi thing and also an option to select BSP CONTROLLER OR BSP HARDWARE SEQUENCER which both do nothing. in the past i could go in to BW midi input select and just select the BSP drum track and i could play back beats. There's no midi being received from the BSP into bitwig. i just removed the moss extension from the BW extension folder and now the BSP works fine but it now means that i cannot use the push 2 as i have removed the extension from the extension folder.

any ideas guys? this is really peeing me off so would really appreciate some help

This sounds like you have multiple controller extensions running for the Beatstep. If you use Generic Flexi do not add another Bitwig Generic device for it.

Thanks for the response.. I have already tried deleteing the bsp extension and only kept ur bitwig extension in the folder but i was still getting no midi from it into bitwig. I did notice that if i put the bsp in controll mode then when i hit the pads it does start sending midi and triggering the drum hits but i need it to play my midi patterns

I did not mean deleting anything on your harddisc. Check instead what you have in the controller settings page in Bitwig. There should only be one entry for the Beatstep.
