Now where on the forum do I go to whine about the GUIs again? ;)
My price is £56 for MEssentialsFXBundle. I think i would use MAutoDynamicEq. Does anybody have this bundle? what do you think of it?
The sale is just for this weekend? I don't think i really have much time to demo these.

MSpectralDynamics looks interesting. I already have the compressor. I don't need reverb. I have enough delays. I'm interested about MAutoVolume and MAutoAlign. I like the free MSaturator. I don't need limiter. I don't think i need MCompare, i have MetricAB. Does anybody know if MCompare works in for example Wavelab? MetricAB doesn't work in Wavelab.

edit: no worries, i'm not gonna buy this.
However if anybody can answer the question about MCompare i'm very interested to know.

I've just tried Gain Match. I think I must be doing something wrong.

Without any plugins my peak level on a short loop of audio is -6.2db looking at the Cubase track peak level at the bottom of the channel.

When I add a compressor it shoots up to -2.4db

When I add the Gain Match before and after the compressor and hit the "apply gain compensation" I get -13.2db

One thing I am wondering is what it actually measures. The loop is very short but most of the time it is around -12db but then it has a spike.

It would not be about peak levels but matching the gain to keep the same loudness.

How did your personal upgrade path drop from 1k+ to 116? You mean down from the MSRP of the full bundle right? I have a dozen or so Melda plugins and my upgrade price is around 500€ for everything. Still tempting, but not a good time.

Yes, actually it may have been around £800 before this sale. Forgot I bought TurboCompressor and TurboReverb on sale last month with the intention of waiting until maybe Black Friday to get the complete bundle cheap and had been picking up melda plugins in sales for the last couple of years.

That was great advice, looks excellent even though I had been joking as so many people rag on the GUI.

Are you safe?

If you've never bought a MeldaProduction plugin or bundle from their web shop directly and only registered serial numbers you got from 3rd party resellers or free as part of a promo, don't forget to get someone's referral code to get 20% off the bundle upgrade. The 20% discount is taken off the Bundle sale price before any other discounts (i.e. current owned product discount).

So if you were to buy the MCompleteBundle at around $1000 USD, you'd save $200, plus any other discounts for plugins that are already in your account.

The formula for the additional plugin discount is: 50% of their MSRP * 70% if you didn't purchase them from their web shop. If you purchased the plugin/bundle from their web shop, it's 70% of what you spent (but then you couldn't use the referral discount code since you've already purchased something from their web shop).

Lastly, don't forget to subscribe to their newsletter before purchasing to get an additional credit discount you can apply to your order (10 euros) if you haven't done it yet.

If anyone needs a Melda referral code, I am happy to give you mine. Just let me know via PM.

I have full Melda so I make no money with it.

One more note on the sale. If you use the newsletter bonus, you get the FreeFX update for 10 bucks. This is the no‐brainer of the year. :D

You always go full Melda?

Could you extend the idea of the question a little? No smiley, so no joke.

I do not regret buying it. The best bang for buck is the free bundle with the update, I think. And as the whole Melda ecosystem is a matter of taste, this gives you a chance to try it out. I considered very carefully, as the second hand selling fee is a bummer.

"GeoFlute Sale $9.99 USD" (iOS) from now to March 25th.

Can anyone confirm whether the GeoSWAM instruments can be used as either inter-app audio or AU? The Roli Noise SWAM instruments can't.

I have this bundle.

I think it’s most useful for all the little automation (in the non-DAW sense) options it adds: MAutodynamicEQ lets you set up very quick sidechained dynamic EQ, MSpectraldynamicLE can be like a lite version of Gullfoss or a light denoiser, depending how you use it, MAutogain if you don’t have time to level a long spoken track, MAutoalign if you don’t want to do that by hand, etc.

Knowing how MCompare works, it should work in Wavelab (MCompare routes itself between two instances of itself, so in theory the DAW it’s hosted on shouldn’t matter), but I haven’t had the chance to try it.

On the whole it seems to me like the bundle of Melda FX that’s a kind of combination of being cheap option, but also many unusual mixing FX that are more unique to Melda
