You'll notice it's only on thread titles with multiple pages. Windows 10 had update last night and this morning is when it started. I am sure it is related.

Can you fix this or is this something I have to live with until Windows fixes what it's broken?

Post

The same issue here on Windows 10 (Chrome and Microsoft Edge), but also on Linux (Ubuntu Studio on Chromium).
I first thought it was something Linux related, but no. This has happened in Linux for several days and in Windows since yesterday.

Post

I went to my other computer which hasn't had any Windows updates in a long while and it's the same problem. So it's got nothing to do with a Windows update. It is something that you guys changed here that is screwing up the fonts. Please fix.

Post

I have it as well now. Chrome and MS Edge latest versions on Windows 10 here.

I remember I already had the same some time ago, and it was fixed, but, now it seems to be back.

Hmmm I'm not seeing that here in Firefox but I do see it in Microsoft Edge. Those are the only two browsers I have installed.

Must be something with KVR since it happens on multiple OS's and multiple Browsers.

True, it doesn't happen in Firefox. Must be something Chromium specific then, as Chrome and Edge both are based on Chromium.

I mean... it IS an issue of the website. Just that it's happening only in Chromium based browsers. Probably pretty easy to fix for KVR Audio.

I just checked the Synapse forum which I believe uses the same forum software (phpBB ?) and it seems fine. I can't think of any other forums that appear to use the same forum application.

no probs here, chrome on mobile

Post

Try landscape mode on mobile. The display of the topic titles is broken there too (in Chrome for Android).

Post

Seems to be fine here in Chrome for Android on two devices even in landscape mode.

Odd that it's only certain threads that are affected. Perhaps it has to do with the size or length of the title.

I assume it has to do with viewport or resolution of the device as well.

Have the same issue in Chrome on Windows, but no issue on Chrome on iPad

ION I found out there was a site stuff forum today for the first time, but had to hunt for it. If a mod is going to lock a thread and say the issue has been covered in another forum could they maybe link to it in their last post?

I think I might have found a clue what's going on....Notice in screenshot #1 how many "about" items there are in the first and third posts. Notice in screenshot #2 those are the thread titles that are messed up. On the first two pages of the Instruments forums at the time of this post only titles that have a lot of "about" items are messed up....(in Microsoft Edge again it's fine in Firefox)

wags pointed out that it happens with multi page threads, perhaps you're both onto something...maybe the adding page numbers causes some crowding issue...again not my table

edit: just went to recheck after typing that, wags' screenshot has no about
