If my computer can handle it, BOUGHT! Not sure what it does but it's bought anyway. Acustica makes some good sh_t! Oh, and did I say if my computer can handle it?

Sounds interesting, well, it depends on cpu usage, whether I ll give it a try or a buy.
It would also be nice to know, what studios are simulated, only to the world unkown Italian studios?, could be nice, but there is a reason why many albums were successfully recorded at sunset sound studios, Hansa, Record Plant, Flyte Time Studios, Paisley Park etc, on the other side Blond is AA's best plugin imo simulating to the world unkown Italian gear...

you should demo first - your computer might not be able to handle it. Always best to demo when in doubt

Very poor business decision to charge customers for extra rooms. I was interested in checking it out but now won't even consider Sienna because of this.

In the end it all leads to making money for whatever.
Sometimes this whatever is worth it and sometimes it's not.
I become sceptical when hearing buzzwords like "I'm actually using or waiting for." But don't stop spending your monies. Your spending helps in these obscure times to keep the economical juices flowing. :tu:

No worse than IKmultimedia charging for additional amps or a synth software company charging for additional sounds. The list goes on. I don't like it but I'm over it.

Somebody compared this with dSoniq?

Yeah. Realphones has a much more honest sound, much more sounding like you're in a room. Tested with both DT1990 and DT990 Pro headphones.

I don't think Sienna will translate well, for one i couldn't hear certain issues in some known problem tracks with Sienna, but with Realphones i could hear these issues immediately. Especially in the low-mids it seems that Sienna is lacking precision. And the high-mids/highs in Sienna seem to be emphasized, which will mostly lead to dull mixes.

Other than that :
- Realphones has systemwide
- Sienna uses way more cpu and hd space
- Sienna uses 3 seperate plug-ins for certain tasks, while Realphones still offers way more tweakability in 1 plug-in
- Sienna gets 2 expansion packs that cost 80 bucks each
- Realphones costs less overall
- Sienna causes issues on some systems/daw's, especially with Cubase/Nuendo
- The eq correction curves used by Sienna are far from flat
- No way to check/add/tweak sub bass in Sienna

Overall i think Sienna is primarily made for ppl to check their sound afterwards as an extra reference, something that one of the devs also stated on GS. And not to use during mixing for translation, which Realphones is much better at, especially when you're working with bass-heavy music and want to hear the sub-bass and low-mids like it would sound in a room.

i have to admit i was excited when i first heard of it.. it covers one of my old headphones but when i heard they want as much for additional packs as they do for the initial release of the plugin and basic pack it has somewhat soured. add to that the short intro pricing period. sure you can demo it for like 30 days but the short intro pricing period almost tries to rush potential customers into purchases. if you add it all up less the intro pricing 307 euros is a bit too much for what it is imo. true you may be able to get by on just the initial pack and will not need the additional volumes but i think all in all it has been overpriced. all this has somewhat turned me away from it. i have it installed since it came out but yet to try it. why demo if i am probably NOT going to buy it... certainly WON'T buy it for 149 euros after intro price has ended in a few days. :(

They said they would change it on the site today to reflect the new end date, so I guess today or tomorrow
