For those who have customised Hive 2 for their particular needs at the script level, it would be really helpful to know what the new script code is that one can simply add where needed with the hive_orig.txt file. It would save a lot of time and effort in updating.
One key instance is with the newly added filters which display the new parameter controls, the other notable one is the toggle button for the scope...there might be others I've not mentioned.

The update went through dozens of iterations here and it is done using our built-in editing tools. I'm afraid there's not really a way for us to helpfully break down which changes had happened. A quick glance at our version control system shows 2030 differences, but even so, the actual changes are just very few parameters.
The switch for the Scope control is just a switch between a coloured and a greyed out display. Theme designers don't necessarily need to reflect that in their efforts.
