I bought MEssentialsFXBundle which includes MSpectralDynamicsLE for £56 because i already own 1 plugin of the bundle. It's £85 if you don't own any of the included plugs already.
I don't think there is a sale of MSpectralDynamics. There's a 60% off sale of bundles.

You are forgiven.

Post

It says on this video from Melda MSpectralDynamicsLE page, linked to from Melda MEssentialsFXBundle page

that there's an upgrade path from MSpectralDynamicsLE to MSpectralDynamics, but apparently there isn't if you bought MEssentialsFXBundle.

BTW MSpectralDynamicsLE is very easy to use. Basically just put it on, and then this "Flattening" makes it sound better. You don't have to touch any of the knobs (quote me) whatsoever, but if you want to then start with Compression, Tone, and Brutality. That's what i did. I used it on full mix in my mastering chain and it sounds great. I used it and also Gullfoss on full mix in my mastering chain and again it sounds great.

No, please forgive me, dusted William: it isn’t individually on sale rn - it’s available through purchase of Melda’s Mastering fx bundle ($310 usd @ -60% off before any credits or a referral code) or as the LE version if you purchase either the Mixing fx bundle currently also priced at $310, or the Essentials bundle at $119.

Edit: mSD-LE is part of the Mixing and Essential bundles; NOT the Creative bundle.

Melda Mcompare is another one, usually they cost much more money, an exception would be the Hornet one cited in this thread before. Anyway, I bought it after quickly demoing it.
Thanks!

Meterplugs Perception was 120€. For one plugin!

So I decided to get Melda Mcompare. But I bought it in the MMixingFXBundle which I got down from 649€ to 198€ by using the current 60% weekend discount, 20% code MELDA59903749 and the 10€ newsletter discount.

That's exactly 6€ per Plugin! Nice. :D
If you plan on purchasing your first Universal Audio hardware, you can get a free additional plugin. Just send a PM.

Is there a way to get my virginity back and become a first timer in the eyes of Melda and get the -20% discount?

Lol - anyway: went for the Creative fx bundle & am thinking about the Mixing Bundle, but Melda doesn’t discount for a licensee already owning overlapping plugs between Bundles (there are 6 shared between Creative and Mixing) - is this their normal policy?
Yes, sadly that is the policy - I just emailed them about the same thing. (I was missing 7 plugins from the MEssentialsFXBundle and my upgrade price was $32. Then I bought MMixingFXBundle which included 6 of those 7 effects, and my upgrade price was still $32.)

Your purchases of effects bundles do lower your price for MTotalFXBundle or MCompleteBundle, however. Of course if you were even considering those, it'd make more sense to just buy them outright now while they're still on sale.

knowing what I know now, I agree, Ceej: the two entire collection bundles are currently deeply discounted; so just buy either up front if you possibly can.

- and I hope that it works out for you: I sent Luke @ Melda a pm myself; let’s see if anything happens.

I actually spent quite a while this weekend figuring out what Melda bundles would make the most sense for me. I even created a spreadsheet in Google Docs with all the plugins from the MCompleteBundle I don't already have along with their prices, marked which ones were in which other bundles, and put in an "Interested/Not Interested" column. Multiplied all those together for each bundle and divided by my current upgrade price to see how good a deal each was. I'm glad I did too - based on the name I always figured the MCreativeFXBundle would be most interesting to me, but it was actually the least good. I ended up getting MMixingFXBundle like I said, and paid for the MFreeFXBundle too. And I did go ahead and get MEssentialsFXBundle too, even though it didn't go any cheaper after I bought most of it via MMixingFXBundle... the one plugin I was still missing was MAutoDynamicEq, and $32 for that still seemed like a solid bargain.

Ended up spending $208 and now I have I think all the Melda plugins I actually want, although I will probably snag MXXXCore the next time it's on the 50% off sale. My MCompleteBundle upgrade price was originally $546, and while I can't argue that would've been a great deal, it's still $340 more than I spent and I don't think I'm missing out on too much.

Btw: Melda seems addicted to 50% offs! lol There’s hundreds of those! And if it is at the lowest price: is there a way of further discounting it with a valid coupon code?
Melda has done a rolling "four plugins for 50% off for a week" nonstop for several years, and usually does a "50% off everything including bundles" once or twice a year. I've rarely seen deeper discounts than that other than the occasional single plugin one-offs on Plugin Boutique or VSTBuzz. It used to be you could save a bit more over the sale prices by buying on DontCrack, but sadly that seemed to dry up around New Years.

I don't think I've ever seen a deeper discount on the bundles before. And I do watch these things fairly closely - I run a music software bargains group on Facebook. So I'd say this is probably the best time to jump if you're ever gonna.

I think the only coupon codes that are out there are the referral bonus codes, which as mentioned are only good on your first purchase direct from Melda. If you're a new customer, then definitely get one of those!

Random note: According to the Melda forum here, the next Melda update (14.17, I guess?) will include Faiky's Modern2 skin. It was announced that it would have the name "Xenon", but there's also another third-party skin with that name, so it might be named something else.

I have Melda Sound Factory which includes MXXX and other misc plugins.
Should the Mxxx be considered at all when making the decision for the
MCreativeFXBundle $211 my price or
MEssentialsFXBundle for $98 my price.

How long does it take until the referral credits reach your account? I still have a credit balance of 0. Looks like noone used my 20% code MELDA59903749  :D

By the way, the Melda pdf documentation is horrible. Looks like it was created by a computer program.

I think the current 60% might be the best discount ever on bundles, but you also have to keep in mind that on February 1st, Melda increased the bundle plugin prices:
  • MCompleteBundle: Old €1,899 New: €2,099
  • MTotalFXBundle: Old €1,699 New: €1,899
  • MMixingFXBundle: Old €599 New: €649
  • MCreativeFXBundle: Old €599 New: €649
That being said, it's most likely the best prices for the bundles going forward.
