I use TLS_Maximizer for limiting in a master rack, can't say it's been a problem, each case is different I guess.

TLS Maximizer isn't a problem... it's just the fact that it's a look ahead limiter, so it uses PDC. Ultimately you'd use it once you've got everything recorded. If it's on the master channel, it's delaying everything... even the stuff you are trying to monitor while recording.
It's like trying to monitor something live while processing it thru SIR. The plug isn't real time in a sense... so it's not gonna work.

im glad too, because I could SWEAR that it didnt do this before. My client's session was over and I said, hey I'll surprise him next time and put some nice tambs and claps in, and I guess I didn't realize that the maximizer "slowed down" the process
