Sounds like a slight attempt of GAS or not... how about this one?

I already have that friend. I realise i have flatulence but i hoped i don't have GAS because its something that doctors don't understand. Peace!

It might be gas, not sure. My point was just that if you already have Supermassive & maybe Blackhole or Toraverb etc. - Maybe you dont really need anything else than that. I tried the Baby Audio myself and actually wasnt too impressed, even it gets lots of love over the net. The other one I dont know, yet that also looks not too spectacular (could be wrong here) & I am also deep into Ambient.

Better still, if you own anything already you can just use the coupon COMPLETEMYBUNDLE to get 70% off any plugin. The new Plate Reverb they just released is included.

No audio demos of the plate reverb on vocals?

IDK, not sure I'm that into realistic plate reverb, which is why I was thinking of getting Denise Perfect Plate XL when it goes on sale. I don't think I have a plate reverb emulation (I don't think the pseudo-EMT in Nectar counts) but I do have a bunch of reverbs that do plate algorithms, and a lot of plate IRs I've never bothered trying. On the plus side this is supposedly low cpu. Might as well demo it if I have time....

Def demo it, you clearly dont 'need' it but if you are like me you may want it, even though you have enough reverbs. The gui is lovely and the sound is darker compared to Arturia 140 effort, its actually a question of workflow preference and whether you can pass up on that oh so sweet bargain price for it.. thats my current dilemma, I cant unsee what I've seen with that price!

One more comment: KH Comp is great, picked it up for next to nothing on one of the other super cheap sales BRA did. But, since there are so many compressors to choose from it doesnt get as much use as Id like, and especially since the new Fircomp 2 was released I use that one on everything, its so good and such a good price too (permanent low price). If you havent heard of Fircomp 2 you really need to check it out but beware you will likely buy it after demoing it, just super smooth and transparent and easy to work with.

On sale for $12, which is probably a no-brainer, but I thought to get some opinions. Can't try it myself right now that's why.
Are there other bigger plugin companies offering the same functionality?

Have received a free sampled library link, however its download requires the install of the "Pulse Dowloader" software.

Has someone experience with this? Does it install a background service, a PC start task or applies any other resource demand? Plus, of course, the ET-phone-home stats provisions, no unrequested user should allow?

And Gainmatch is no longer on sale, lol. Out of mind.

I've used it a couple of times, and didn't find anything like that. When you run the software, it might stay running in the system tray until you manually close it or restart. Not sure that is the case, but worth checking.

I would also recommend using a dedicated empty folder for it to download into, then moving/copying the files where you want them, just to be safe.

Eastwest's Installation Center is 293 MB. Seems a bit on the large side.

Oh! I would not fear for viruses or trojans, just saw a reputed online plugin store using this application. The quest is for its load weight, other info it could share back, etc.

So I'd like to know, if after installing the library the user could simply uninstall the Pulse Downloader soft and no trace would be left behind, less any active part of it (service, temporal upgrade calls, to reinstall, etc).
If that is not the case, it would be good to know what would remain in the system.

Uhmm on second thought it may very well be that they are just looking for inscriptions to the app and emails.

Actually it's also used for managing updates to libraries you have installed. Works fine, doesn't run in the background if you don't want it to and is generally easy to work with.
