Yeah, they should make the free bundle actually free and call the paid version Gentleman's Edition or something.

hell yeah. i feel like other companies should solicit Melda for marketing strategies (or I'm just weird) because Melda's sale cycles / bundles / upgrade systems have extracted so much money out of me and I've been consistently happy about paying it

They got me too and I just bought the MCompleteBundle. A bunch of audio plugins shouldn't make me this happy, but for some reason they do. I'm subscribing to the MCompleteBundle as soon as I can. I could just save up the money to buy it next time it's on another sale and spend less, but truth be told - I can't wait that long and I'm happy enough to pay full price for Melda's top quality work.

I purchased MTotalbundle back in 2013 at a black friday sale with a price tag on 349€. I cant figure out which version i bought, but it was prior to version 9.05. Since then Meldaproduction has released approximately 900 value adding changes, which is a pretty cool and amazing amount... I know of no other plugindeveloper releasing changes so offen!! In the meanwhile i also purchased MDrummer, MPowerSynth and MSoundFactory, meaning i own every Meldaplugins!! Which makes it kind of funny, that it costs me approximately 400€ upgrading to MCompletebundle But I totally agree with Meldas price policy on this point - its just a funny kind of situation.
Melda has recently raised the prices (again), but this time compensates with a higher pricereduction (60%). I offen look at iZotope music production bundle as a comparison, and iZotope offen has a sale with 50% off, and more on the entry products. So often, that i suspect its the real price of there products. When ever iZotope has a sale, I consider purchasing there bundle, since I already own VocalSynth and there essentials. But everytime I come to the same conclusion... At that price tag, it simply for me, doesn't contain enough killer features - so i am sticking with melda...
I am in no way affiliated with Meldaproduction, besides the licenses i have purchased.
BTW. MEqualizer from the Free bundle, is still my favorite EQ and among my mostly used Meldaplugins.

With MXXX, all the instruments and a few individual plugins I saw no reason to get MComplete. But I want to support this crazy thing here somehow, with Melda I have not regretted a single purchase. Now it seemed, it was the perfect time. And now I finally feel complete. I knew I was missing something .

Yeah, i even upgraded from Total FX to Complete, although it wasn't really something new for me except Soundfactory (Would have been much cheaper to buy only Soundfactory) then. But hey, Vojtech is worth to invest
