Hi
Looking for some advice. I was working on a project within Tracktion 7 with numerous different edits. During the process I received a blue screen of death notice and my PC rebooted. When I next opened Tracktion the project I was working on had disappeared. I have tried the option to "Open Project" but I receive an error message saying it couldn't open the project file. I assume the project file has been corrupted.
When I open file manager in Window I can see that all the edits and recordings are still available but I am unsure of how to transfer them back into Tracktion. I have tried creating a new project and importing these files which works to some extent but none of the edits have any reference material so when you open the edit all recorded tracks show as files missing. I have tried copying the recordings into the recordings folder of the new project but this doesn't seem to work either as they are not recognized. It seems like there should be an easy way to transfer files but it looks like everything you do in Windows does not transfer to Tracktion. I was wondering if anybody had a solution to this problem. Any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers

Not sure if this will work, but when you open an edit and it has the clips, but says 'files missing', click on the clip and in the properties panel on the bottom you will see an option for set source file, which will get you to a browser so you an manually find the file. Usually it just takes one, then it figures out the rest if they are in the same folder.

Cheers, I’ve tried that and whilst it does work it is rather laborious and time consuming, especially when you have a lot of recordings to sort through. I just thought there might have been an easier way to transfer and link all recordings in an edit.
can't sing, can't play, looks awful.....
