- StutterEdit 1 & 2
- Glitch 1 & 2
- Tantra
- Effectrix, Turnado, Looperator
- Byome, Triad
- chrisGlitch
- Loomer Sequent

NI Should bring out one called the Ar$ehole , for all your low end needs.

Yeah, after a while you realise you can come up with something unique by putting in the time with automation. I used to use ADs BigSeq2 a lot, still fun and convenient but not as much as having a dozen lanes of automation shifting everything about.

And that's coming from a Reaper user, not exactly famed for it's envelope editing. :)

If you have Ableton you can use a sequencer to modulate anything and I'm sure you can in many other daws like bitwig. So it's not really much of a hole. Sure there's a convenience factor with things like Tantra but those who have it would probably use it once in a blue moon like Stutter edit, put it in their 'seemed like a good idea at the time' box.
Yeah effects chains and automation are affective, but sometimes you just want to be able to play around inside a super sequencer, like existing effects devices that allow you to set per step. But, maybe something that expands beyond even that.

How about adding the ability to pitch, tune, etc. each and every step, like combining the gate/sequencer and effects device along with ARP type features, with a work flow that's less complicated. I'm not sure how many filter types the current devices have, but there's a lot of room for sound and noise manipulation here.

Something that would allow you to create futuristic melodies without having to redo the source material. There may even be room for micro-tuning or harmonics and other things that haven't been explored yet. I guess it would be less of an effects devices and more of an instrument at this point.

This is exactly what the combination of technologies from iZotope and NI can yield.

NKS on steroids.

True. There's a lot of room for unique and creative devices that allow users to play and have fun. Also, making them inspirational, allowing them to conjure up different ideas and methods, that they might not have stumbled upon otherwise. These type of instruments and devices have a way of allowing you to get into the creative flow while messing around having fun...

I use a sequencer with unlimited steps and all the features you are after. Its not a VST, but thats not a problem, because its my DAW. In my case its called Bitwig, but I bet most DAWs can do that as well. I mean even Protools can deal (limited) with Midi...
But maybe that is too much creative freedom?

I have requested numerous times that they increase the amount of steps and increase the clocked LFO rate. I'd be so happy if they did either one.

Trying to sell TRIAD at the moment. Did not get into it at all.

I've never used TRIAD once in a track. I'm sure someone, somewhere needs a multiband version of BYOME, but it's certainly not me.

same - I think they need to get someone from outside to do their interfaces/workflows. Nothing wrong with the capabilities but not presented well to the user

Bitwig is pretty special in that case, but I don't think it's the same thing as creative flow. It's usually the technicalities that bog down the creative process. A device that handles all that for you quickly and in the moment, would be a pretty special device in the right hands.
