Don’t worry, even if you miss it, it’ll come back. Probably rather sooner than later...
Btw. They will send you a mail the day before, and two days before, I think even three days before...
Just watch your spam folder...

Note that WUP purchase does not give your free plugins. Only plugin, bundle and upgrade purchases count towards it.
I would suggest looking at upgrade offers in your Waves account to see the possibilities. In most cases, it is better to upgrade to a bigger bundle (and get WUP automatically) instead of going for WUP.

Upgrade to Gold + RenMaxx. That's what I had done from V10 to V11. It costed me just about $27 - added all RenMaxx plugins and gave WUP of 1 year for the bundle.arkmabat wrote: Tue Mar 23, 2021 6:23 pm OH! I had no idea upgrading Gold would update everything in it. Nice.
You can get the code and go to a dealer for slightly better price than what you see in your account.

There is no end date yet. As far as I remember, Waves don't do WUP sales often. I think it's just once a year. I am on the fence to get few single plugins that I use often WUPed right now.
I am hoping that Waves will release V13 by end of this year, so that any upgrades and WUP purchases can be upgraded to V13 for free. There's a high possibility of it happening.
Tip: When going for WUP, select only the ones you really use AND where you could benefit from the bigger GUI size.

This is an approach I’d suggest too. Mind you, there is also that voucher you get in return to the same value which you could always put towards upgrading any plugins that didn’t “make it in” the bundle.LoveEnigma18 wrote: Tue Mar 23, 2021 6:20 pm Note that WUP purchase does not give your free plugins. Regarding upgrade, my recent example: SSL 4000 + API Collection WUP cost was > $70, even with 25% discount. Instead, I upgraded them to Studio Classics Collection for just $31 and got V-EQ3, V-EQ4 and V-Comp additionally - all V12 with the scalable GUI and WUP for one year. Mostly did this upgrade for the new and truly Hi-DPI ready graphics of SSL 4000 plugins and with some hope that API will be next in line. I am confident Waves will release V13 by this year, and I am covered with WUP until March 2022 for these plugins.simon.a.billington wrote: Tue Mar 30, 2021 10:30 amThis is an approach I’d suggest too. Unfortunately, the voucher you get after WUP seems pretty useless. It only works on the sale price and the Waves sale discount is much better than using the voucher.
Have you experienced a case where you found it useful? Any example would be appreciated.
(By the way, for some reason, my WUP voucher, which was initially working fine, suddenly started saying it is already used. Least bothered to spend time to know why tbh.)

Agreed. You can only use one voucher per order, so it's the 40% voucher or the 25% WUP voucher but not both. Waves were quite clever there to keep all prices at full retail and discount them with vouchers rather than just discount the prices - pretty much makes all WUP vouchers useless.LoveEnigma18 wrote: Tue Mar 30, 2021 10:39 amUnfortunately, the voucher you get after WUP seems pretty useless. I never really got to use any WUP vouchers unfortunately, because of them either timing out on me or taking that bundle path I suggested.LoveEnigma18 wrote: Tue Mar 30, 2021 10:39 amRegarding upgrade, my recent example: SSL 4000 + API Collection WUP cost was > $70, even with 25% discount. What you and Cprompt says seem to make sense.

@cprompt
Thanks, yes, exactly. I got a bit excited after seeing the voucher since it was first ever WUP purchase for me (only 3 plugins though, as no point in WUPing plugins you don't use), but terms and conditions are ridiculous. Can't combine any vouchers either. Basically, they are fooling/luring people into WUP by highlighting "you get voucher for the amount you spent on WUP" as a benefit and people will think "wow, that's so generous of Waves".
@simon.a.billington
Okay, no worries.
Now we know, I will repeat for anyone reading:
Don't buy WUP solely for the reason you will get a voucher of the same value. WUP vouchers are useless.
