Installed Cream 2, not sure if I love or hate the manual with its Dante's Inferno style, but it's certainly different.
Either way I'm not sure I was expecting a 2GB download for this sort of plugin. Is it using some kind of convolution I wonder?
Edit: Well I got my answer by RTFM obviously

I think I've come down on the 'love it' side for the style, I like quirky if it's mixed with useful and informative.Nonlinear convolution: The Volterra theorem is applied as a complete re-thinking, replacement, and generalized substitution of the convolution algorithm that is commonly used in audio applications. Accurate sampling, processing, and reproduction of up to 9 harmonics is possible with our proprietary technology

Yepp, maybe the #kvr Algorithm gets triggered to ignore it, too?

You ‘join’ the collective by buying certain Focusrite or Novation hardware. I think I qualified after I bought a sub £200 interface, which I don’t use anymore, but there is no checking involved that you still have it plugged in or anything. You get a personalised code on their website per product.D.Wako wrote: Sat Mar 27, 2021 11:24 pmedited: Never mind i found the answer: "Between March 25th and May 27th 2021 (4pm GMT), all Plug-in Collective members can download Cream2 – which normally retails for €199 – for free."N3ee wrote: Sat Mar 27, 2021 10:00 pm FREE PLUG-IN COLLECTIVE: ACUSTICA CREAM2 worth €199
This month we’re teaming with Acustica Audio for the first time. They are an exciting company based out of Italy and are offering their very powerful channel strip: Cream2.
This channel strip is modelled off of some old iconic, British built hardware that can give an extra element of warmth to your mixes.

So it's not free if you're part of the collective.
Sorry but do i have to be part of plugin collective or something? Or just open an account? If you could edit you post to clarify? Thanks.

Cream2 takes up a lot of disk space (1.386 gb apparently)... could I put it (or similar Acustica plugins) on a secondary internal hard drive without a huge increase in latency or performance issues?
I'm glad my old Focusrite Scarlett hasn't turned out to be a waste now I've gotten a better interface.

Kind of weird offer; shipping costs are added, uk only customers & then gets shipped in a small box in a few days? Not sure if this is legit or maybe just a Mistake. Did any of the uk heads check this out, the price is a bargain for Circle2.AcrossTheSky wrote: Sat Mar 27, 2021 9:21 pm
