Good call. I enjoyed that. He could have cut off the last two minutes though. Waffle and what on earth was he thinking off with that 'track', haantic604 wrote: Thu Mar 25, 2021 5:15 pm BTW, this is a very nice video about Live's history and progress throughout the years

Try this: put a spectrum after an EQ8, or before. Graphical settings i.e block and refresh set as the same. The y-axes are totally inconsistent with the frequency displays. they should be the same as the y-axes are both in dB. Different material shows +10dB difference. Or am I missing something?

Ableton 11 crashes when bouncing if 'individual tracks' is selected. You have to go through and do 10 at a time using 'selected tracks'. I dont know why it's doing it but it is, on the first and latest updates

One thing I really like and don't think I've seen in Live before is that under 'Packs', it lists all packs not yet downloaded and those that need to be updated. There are handy download and install options included.
Upgrading from Live 10 Suite to Live 11 Suite.

I never noticed it before. I always went to the website and downloaded everything over several days and installed.
I hope someone can learn from my mistake.

still no proper mixer view in the arrange window and that ridiculous tiny level squares for volume so I go back to bitwig ....

Yeh, but still no comping in Bitwig....no perfect solution yet in either so I still do most of my audio recording and mixing in Studio One. Audio and Mixing is still far better in most other DAWS than Bitwig and Live as they seem far more focused on being creative in other ways.dupont wrote: Sun Mar 28, 2021 9:00 am still no proper mixer view in the arrange window and that ridiculous tiny level squares for volume so I go back to bitwig ....
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S88MK3, S1, BWS, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6 Pro3, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone II, OP1-F, OPXY, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Yes both dupont and SliC have a point. So that I kept the three! Anyway, if I must choose only one DAW, this would be Bitwig (and Reaper please!).
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

It is not only about the faders! I can control that with my keyboard sliders and knobs, but it is about seeing what plugins are there. So, in Bitwig (like other linear DAWs) can give you a clear view:

I also use all 3 (and Renoise). Bitwig is great as an all rounder, unsurpassed with modulation and MPE. Once they add comping and maybe ARA its possible I could drop to 2 DAWS, but S1 is light years ahead for mixing (any size/layout, scenes, history, snapshots, VCA etc) and Live has MAX and a few other USPs (including great packs and instruments in suite 11) so its not that easy to choose!EnGee wrote: Sun Mar 28, 2021 10:27 am Yes both dupont and SliC have a point. MPE still doesn't really work in Studio One (no VST3 support) so I am at least a 2 DAW guy for some time!

You can show devices in the Mixer in Live (or could, not tried it in 11)EnGee wrote: Sun Mar 28, 2021 10:42 am It is not only about the faders!
