Hey everyone!

Today, I'm dropping my clone of XLN Audio's RC-20. Check it out, lmk what you think and if there are bugs!

I'm also starting a Discord server because it's a much easier way to communicate (been having problems with the messaging on KVR). All topics are welcome on the Discord, not just Melda stuff (although I'll be focusing a lot on Melda... :) )

Anyway, Enjoy :D

Edit: I'm changing this to WIP, because it def needs a bit more work! Feel free to make changes and post them on Discord in the "WIP" section. I'd be more than happy to add them :)

Awesome idea. I have RC-20 and will do a little back and forth for giggles.

This looks and sounds great HorusAnd. To my ears, and no other reason, the rate of wobble and magnetic could do with a larger range starting from much lower. They sound too fast for how I remember cassette, but I haven't heard one for so long, you could be spot on.

There is something similar in the MXXX factory library called "all that old gear" or something like that.

Not so fast, please... I am getting sore from beating myself off to your stuff. :clown:

Damn, since this thing came out (RC-20)... I thought I need to buy it BUT then I always came to the conclusion that it isn´t worth it... I thought, I can make those littel non-linearities with tools from melda (and others), and always ended up seeing no real value spending that amount of money.

BUT NOW YOU made this... SOOO great...! Showing all those companies releasing only "presets" as seperate plugins to make money (cough, cough, waves, cough) how it is done.

Show´em, show´em good!

I had the same thought.. When the rates are all the way down and the depth is low, it sounds much better to me too. I just followed the range on the original for each but I can def make it wider / lower.

So, I'll widen the range and I'm also swapping out the "Magnitude" slider. The OG actually reduces the max depth for all the modules so I'll be changing that too.

If you haven't already, join the Discord there's a work in-progress section where a couple of us are posting stuff to test out!

How do I download this? Do I have to register to Discord? :/

Hey @twasq :) Check out the info here:

The preset can be copied from the top of this thread, it is the text in the code box on the original post. The instructions in the link should help guide you through the process :) GL, enjoy!

Hi Horus,

why you don´t upload all your fantastic presets inside the preset manager in an own HorusAnd folder? Would be much easier and smoother than copy and paste inside the plugin and then saving it.

Thanks and greets
Marek
