VST3 shows up in Cakewalk but crashes as soon as I load it up. VST2 works fine.

Oh and BTW: VST3 scans and shows and loads properly in Reaper.

Guess developer's resources are not endless. I imagine lot of work goes into stable versions for all provided platforms and plugin formats.

At least I do. K4 is a superset of K1, better in every way.

Asking for a filter section when it's a K1 emulation and the guy is already working on a K4 emu..

Hi Nils,

I did some tests with the new VST3 plugins on Windows 10 and discovered the following issues:

1) Bitwig Studio 3.3.6

Crashes regularily
No sound from stereo output, when I add all other outputs they work fine.
When I close the window and open it again, it is back to its' initial size.

2) Cubase 11.0.10

Note: plugin has to be in C:\Common Files\VST3, otherwise it is not scanned.
No sound from additional outputs, stereo works fine (funny, the oposite of Bitwig).
When I close the window and open it again, it is back to its' initial size.

3) Reaper 6.26

No sound from additional outputs, stereo works fine.
When I close the window and open it again, it is back to its' initial size.

A crying shame. Thankfully these can be added afterwards, although it'd be much nicer to save it as a self contained preset than a grouped rack.

Here's hoping he's getting on with the K4.
