Can't choose what to pick, even for free with that $20 voucher. I feel obese... :(
I treated myself to SPL De-Verb Plus, for free. Thanks Plugin Alliance!
I was looking at that and mo-verb (assuming they pull the voucher reset trick again). I've pretty much cleaned out the sub $20 selection over the last year or two :)

Though may just wait and see if Knifonium gets added.
I already got Knifonium for about $15, you must've missed it. Do you get the $25 vouchers?

I might get SpecOps if they reset the voucher.

Ambient\Sound Design wise ..sort of.
Byome has good reverbs for ambient/sound design and is $30 now if you use the mega-sale voucher for it: MEGA-SALE-20OFF

Do you actually use any of those? The Unfiltered Audio stuff is pretty interesting but I have only goofed around with the plugins.

I don’t do mastering. My ears are old and not so good. I like creative effects. I guess I don’t have a license for Fault yet so maybe I will get that. I am not sure it really does anything that my other plugins do, but what the heck it is free with the voucher.

Well it was just yesterday i had a sample but thought "i don't like the reverb" so who knows? i'll give it a try.

Knifonium is worth at least £15 imo.

dearvr music isn’t a reverb in the traditional sense, but it works like a reverb to put something ‘in a space’... in the cheap tier now ... (I have the pro version, it’s pretty good for what it does...)

Of course, the IRs in DearVR Pro can be used as reverbs in the traditional sense, and are fantastic....

I regularly need to remove ambience from recordings and I too picked up de-verb many moons ago when PA was regularly doing the budget plugins. They moved away from that and I'm guessing I'm not the only customer who just decided not to even bother looking anymore. I see now that they're trying to be back in that space again.

At any rate, I digress.

SPL reverb isn't that special and I get the sense that you can get similar results from almost any transient designer plugin. If you need that kind of tool, at all, the best thing to do is to wait for Zynaptiq UNVEIL to go on sale. iZotope's de-reverb plugin from RX-8 is also pretty good. In fact, I like the dialogue processors from the RX plugins quite a bit. The de-click/click/crackle/hum/plosive have saved many recordings from the trash bin and saved many hours of work.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I think that the right price for the SPL plugins is free. I only still have them installed because PAs installer is pretty good and makes it easy to just install the whole kit and kaboodle.

Big Al would cost me $5 less with monthly $25 voucher than with this "MEGA-SALE-F*OFF" voucher.
Optimal number of audio plugins is one more than you currently have.

Rx de-reverb is garbage for music. Unveil is supposed to be great but it's pricey even on sale... but it may be cheaper than room treatment depending on where you're recording.

UNVEIL goes on sale for $100 or so. The thing is, what is meant by garbage? If you just want some transient reduction, e.g., reducing reverb tails on staccato sounds, then the SPL tool will do that. I just don't think that the results are noticeably different from any number of other transient designers. RX de-reverb does more and may need tweaking. Results will always depend on the source.

If you want to reduce a dense space on a pad or legato sound, e.g., vocals, a common use case, then SPL de-verb is garbage.

Here's some sweetwater edutainmentsales, but it's pretty much spot on. DeReverb should be applied sparingly if you want to maintain quality, it's a heavy handed process.

I was just having some time experimenting with Byome - ...saw some examples of chaining two reverbs in series on YT etc - resonator is a great effect , granular stuff too,
Anyway - so often I realize - Byome & Triad are so useful/versatile (& often I forget about it) - Great Vsts.

No... Last thing I bought was bx_oherhausen for $10 back in December (first purchase for a while), got a voucher in January but nothing since. Guess they're regulated by the amount you spend dynamically, not just over a year.
