Either way I think it's a pretty safe bet that Harry's reverb(s?) will be a completely different thing,
im of the opinion, there's always room for more reverbs/delays and fuzz!

quality stuff is always worth having, do good work, forget "doing something new/special" unless it comes naturally.
the important bit is the sound quality, additional flashy features are nice but not essential! (imo)

:tu:

if you build it, they will come!

Dirt from the Crush pack is great too. Never heard a better in the box distortion.

I really like the use of built-in saturation on modern reverbs. The one on Nimbus really help bringing better balance to a mix while LX480 adds noticeable warmth. And lets not forget the auto-eq feature of neoverb.

Yes, I think they are all six good in what they do and offer (quite versatile too) - it's just that I am usually not a huge fan of distortion in general. I love a wee bit of saturation but as soon as there are too many overtones it often just irks me (except it's Little Alter Boy - that thing is the gem of gems for me) - and to come back to this thread, that's also probably why I don't use Raum, it's not just the quality but also a matter of aesthetics, which I think basically is one of the main reasons why we can't have enough reverbs (delays, etc.) - if they offer another colour, if they somehow are aesthetically different enough, they'll have their use - not for everyone, but to some of us.

And that's also why I don't think all these plugins of one type are all neccessarily competitors to each other - more like friendly neighbours.

I like using NI Choral for reverb.
