Its very simple to get Bitwig up and running on Linux and it works just like in windows. Once you get the hang of converting VSTs to the Linux format you can have a lot of freeware stuff running like Synth One, and others, but sometimes with graphics issues. It took me days to find the LINVST app and work out how to convert VSTs, but once I got it to work it became a bit addictive.
