Does anyone know how to use the arp presets in Waveform 11? I thought that they would work with the stock arpeggiator, but no joy.

They show up in the MIDI Arpeggiator as Pattern options, but they don't seem to be anything other than a tease if you try to use them from the Browser. If you load the MIDI Arpeggiator, click the Pattern checkbox and they are available as a dropdown.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
Surely there must be consensus by now...

Thanks...

I have just discovered the midi arpeggiatorer, played around with it but don't understood how the "pattern" option exactly works. The manual https://www.tracktion.com/sites/default ... e-2021.pdf links to but the video doesn't really explain either.

What I haven't understood is this:
1) What do the numbers in the pattern presets stand for? What does the "5" in a name like "5_5_5_5_" stand for?
2) What is the effect of moving notes in the "sequencer" up and/or down from their +0 position to anything between -8 and +8?
3) I guess that +x means that notes are moved upwards by that number, but what is the reference when such pattern is applied to a chord progression and let's say a C major triad with c,e,g notes?

1) Velocity. It's relative, not absolute.
2) Increases the pitch by that number of semitones.
3) Whichever note should be played at that point will be increased or decreased.
Surely there must be consensus by now...
