No, not the name of my newest death metal song, but a strange new problem I am having with
Version 8.27 on several different projects.

When I hit a note on my midi controller (EMU X-Board), it records the note on a different track even if the track is not armed or even if the transport is not running. So if I am playing or recording a part on track 6, it will record on track 5 instead whether the transport is running or not. WTH??
I have had no previous problem of this sort going back to T2. I swear I did not touch or change anything that I am aware of to enable this behavior. I can't figure out how to stop this madness.

Also, when I click an already recorded midi note, I cannot hear the VST play it anymore. Very frustrating when trying to edit notes.

Any help would be immensely appreciated!
