I think the image says put to clipboard and then take from clipboard but I don't believe that's intuitive, as i had to think about it, it should be take settings from plugin and paste them into plugin, therefore the 2 icons should be switched.

Does anyone else think the copy and paste icons are counter intuitive?

Now that I think about it ... agreed. It is no show stopper to me, however.

Perfect example of "being different does't mean being useful". I don't get why you'd suddenly want to change commonly known things... The ones before were pretty clear. I think I saw this also somehwere with polarity inversion buttons which where not the typical "phase" sign.

Au contraire - the middle icon shows an arrow pointing towards the clipboard, which means "Copy to the clipboard". And the right-hand icon show an arrow point out of the clipboard meaning "Paste from the clipboard".

Those icons are incorrect for 50% of people's mental schema, especially as small as they are. Is the thing behind the arrow the clipboard or the plugin?

I think the icons are fine because the icons are related the clipboard, so it makes sense to show the clipboard on them.
And I think they are easier to remember than the old ones, so they are an improvement for me.

Same here i was confused looking for the copy and paste icon or something similar. The only thing that make me click on those new icons was because i knew that the. Copy/paste were here before.

That's what I said, and I don't think it's intuitive. Is the icon the plugin window or the clipboard?
