The problem is confirmed in 1.5.7, so 1.5.8 with fixes will be released soon.

Does the init button do anything for you guys, in v1.5.8? For me it does nothing... no way to init a preset anymore.

Slowly getting a bit annoyed here. Every new version, a new major bug occurs.

Either I go completely nuts now, or the init button is already broken in 1.5.6 as well. Pressing it does nothing here. Meh.
Only works when I go to another preset, and then press init again. I remember it also initialized the init preset, when I modified that.

I just loaded 1.5.8 into cantabile, just for curiosity, and for me the "Init Button" does work (does as well in savihost), and finally it did even in Studio One 4.6.2 (Windows 8.1)chk071 wrote: Mon Apr 19, 2021 5:21 pm Does the init button do anything for you guys, in v1.5.8? Try the following: Make a backup of your user settings in the AppData/Roaming/Reveal Sound folder in your Windows users folder - the file is called spire_config.json. After you backed that up, delete the file, so that Spire can initialize the settings the next time you load up your DAW, and add an instance of Spire in it. Tweak the init patch a bit, and then press the init button to re-initialize the preset. Doesn't work for me.
I have a feeling that there is a left over settings in the Spire settings file, which makes the init button work just fine, but, when that settings is gone, and Spire is like "freshly installed", without any prior user settings, it doesn't work. At least it doesn't work here that way.

Just to make sure: Are you trying the following? Doesn't work for me on my desktop, and it doesn't work on my laptop (version 1.5.7). I'm 100% sure that that worked before.
What I did was, again, that i delete the user settings on my desktop before installing the newer versions. And, on my laptop, the installation was a new installation, and, I think 1.5.6 was the first version I had installed on it.
