I'm finding that dragging the orange icon does produce the rare eye-blink flash of menu, while dragging an existing modifier leaves the menu visible more than half the time. Instruments seem to be more inclined towards leaving menus visible than effects (because longer menus? Vital's is huge ginormous, and stays most of the time).dRowAudio wrote: Tue Jan 26, 2021 5:22 pmIt's like something is dismissing the popup menus before they open.
Waveform 11.2.18 is available as beta

Thanks, didn't realise this was on Linux. I can replicate the issue there.Kott wrote: Tue Jan 26, 2021 11:33 pmI confirm that on Linux.ForrestH wrote: Mon Jan 25, 2021 4:41 pmhttps://drive.google.com/file/d/18MRnoH ... sp=sharing
Note the unexpected functionality at the end.

Is anyone else having trouble saving layouts? It's interpreting some letters as commands in the name entry dialog. C is sometimes interpreted as cancel.
Surely there must be consensus by now...

Good morning everyone, I have noticed that in the view of the bassline pattern and in the list of plugins every preset is displayed twice. Does it happen only to me?

Looks like one is the VST 2 plugin and the other is the VST3 plugin.AG1970 wrote: Wed Feb 03, 2021 4:18 pm Good morning everyone, I have noticed that in the view of the bassline pattern and in the list of plugins every preset is displayed twice. Does it happen only to me?
UPDATE: I missed the pattern presets issue. I had issues with presets before. At one point I had three of each. I ended up deleting all of them in frustration (I don't tend to use them much anyways) and then next time I loaded Waveform they were all there again without any duplications. I guess it makes sure the presets are all there whether you want them or not.
On Windows you can find them at
C:\Users\[YOURNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Tracktion\Waveform\Presets

Thought of another feature request to consider. With the new snap to grid settings where you can specify the snap it would be cool if it changed the grid divisions in the piano roll to match what has been selected or even add highlights to the grid that match it?

That was how I originally programmed it. But then when you zoomed out it looked really messy.boomt wrote: Thu Feb 04, 2021 1:13 pm Thought of another feature request to consider. I tried to delete the presets in the folder but the problem didn't go away. Maybe on my pc Waveform has saved in different locations ...

This still has not been fixed as of 11.5.9, any word on when it will be working?dRowAudio wrote: Mon Jan 25, 2021 4:32 pmThanks for reporting. Should be fixed in 11.2.19.adrs wrote: Fri Jan 22, 2021 11:15 am I don't know if there's something I missed in my setup, or it is a bug. But, whenever I'm using the experimental engine, the click output always routed to output 1-2 and master meter only respond if I'm using output 1+2 as default output, I'm using output 3-4 as my default output (no problem with the audio, just the meter that only responding to output 1-2).
This behaviour already present from the earlier beta version, is anybody experiencing this issue when using the experimental engine?
