Cross grading?

This may sound like a silly question but I'm asking it anyway

How does cross grading and upgrading work.

I own Synthmaster Player (paid version) and Synthmaster 2.9.

I would like to buy Synthmaster One. If I Cross grade or upgrade from the Synthmasters I have, do I loose the version I've gone from or do I gain Synthmaster One at a discounted rate because I've bought other versions previously?

If you crossgrade to Synthmaster One, you can use all the software you have separately.
