Hi all,
I have recently published the following track featuring Lucy and Jay from the #emvoice plugin.
Kind of AlterEgo / Vocaloid but with a very good quality.
The Rest is almost only Bitwig, only with some Meldaproduction Stuff. The Bitwig onboard Reverb is sometimes not to my taste and I enjoy the great MStereoProcessMB ...

You could make a track in Bitwig to let other clubs shine instead... That is the challenge you’re now obliged to do...

I just finished my first track on Bitwig, I come from Cubase and have used almost every DAW on the market.
The routing and modulation possibilities it offers make it unique

In this song I continue to worship my recently repaired Juno-106 by way of Bitwig and friends. Moog Sub25 provides the acidy arpeggiations using Bitwigs arp along with semi random notes into the diatonic transposer - these were resampled and tamed further in some parts. Drums are from breaks and samples in XO and drum sampler. We also have some polysynth and Pigments with that raising sound in the break down. This song is the first I've taken the time to bounce stems for every part and try harder at mixing. I'm also giving Gullfoss a try and even used a reference track... I hope its loud enough.

Really good! The opening textures didn't outstay their welcome, and I loved the way the drum breaks didn't go straight into a groove but gave us some Photek-like weirdness. The second set of breaks were a bit more regular but still still had enought variety to maintain interest. In general, I really like the way the breaks are really varied but at the same time manage to flow

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it
I used audio for the breaks this time, no midi. I think the drawback of this method is that :
- it gets messy fast
- hard to visualize the groove
- cannot jam the break on the keyboard
What’s cool about this method is the level of control and the editing with the fades. I’ll go back to midi for the next track I think.
This music style is all about how to keep the listener's interest with a few samples and pads. All kinds of edits, filters, pitch changes, effects etc are welcome.
