No dongle needed of any type, simple on line activation just the once...a good copy protection system in my opinion.TribeOfHǫfuð wrote: Wed Apr 21, 2021 2:23 pm I'd like to try this out but I have been away from software for half a decade and cannot really dig Arturia's sayings on the need of dongle. They talk about a physical as well as virtual dongle. I have always avoided the physical ones, but what does Virtual mean? Is it the same as when Reason 11 is activated by harddisk instead of ignition key?

If Arturia would work on their library of samples, then yeah absolutely - I can see Pigments becoming a serious alternative to Omnisphere. In terms of effects and synth engine stuff - Pigments is almost already there. Now they just need a Burning Piano or two...

This didn't work for me. I just see a price to purchase and not a download icon. Are those banks supposed to be free with the update?EnGee wrote: Wed Apr 21, 2021 10:21 am I found the banks!
Go to Presets, then to Store. You will see 5 banks. Click on the clouds to install them. That's it!![]()

They were supposed to be free for those of us who were first time buyers of Pigments. I haven't checked this morning but as of yesterday those presets did not show up in "Owned Banks" although strangely enough the Wavetables from those sets were available for use after manually installing the soundsets.killmaster wrote: Wed Apr 21, 2021 2:51 pmThis didn't work for me. I don't know because i haven't used Omnisphere.DrGonzo wrote: Wed Apr 21, 2021 2:59 pmWhat do you mean?Teksonik wrote: Wed Apr 21, 2021 2:52 pmI can't tell if you're being serious or just joking.DrGonzo wrote: Wed Apr 21, 2021 2:34 pm If Arturia would work on their library of samples, then yeah absolutely - I can see Pigments becoming a serious alternative to Omnisphere. As far as I can tell there's no extra content included with the presets. But the update itself did include new wavetables.Vortifex wrote: Wed Apr 21, 2021 12:55 pm Are there any extra samples included with those 500 presets or do they just use what's already available?
