Hi would be cool to implement Multitouch in gui - I have a Touchscreen on my laptop and can also share my screen to my iPad via Duett. Some synths already allow Multitouch but in Diva I can only use one knob / fader simultaneously. The second control doesn’t react. Would be nice to implement this in future to all u-he synths

Hey, I'm a touchscreen user too and I'd also like to have this. Although, from prior discussions I understand it wouldn't be a trivial thing to add. I can't recall exactly why, but it was roughly to do with other existing complexities.

That said, I have good multitouch ability to control U-he stuff via my main DAW, Bitwig. It's possible other such ways to control plugins like this exists. Maybe someone else here has another suggestion?

yeah, I think JUCE is the way most plugins that support multitouch are getting this feature implemented so for someone with their own in-house GUI framework which was not designed to be cross-compatible with mobile etc is probably not worth it for the small minority of people that use touchscreens on DAW PCs (and I say that as someone who does use a multitouch monitor on my DAW pc)

In the meantime to tweak multiple params at once on my touchscreen I set up remote tabs in bitwig studio

It's on our list, but competes with other such things, like stand alone applications or the annual maintenance. Latter always wins, I'm afraid.

FWIW, I was an early MULTITOUCH WILL CHANGE EVERYTHING!!!! person, and after years of working with it (as well as with MT controllers like Lemur and TouchOSC) I've still never been able to get the necessary accuracy/resolution out of touchscreen control for either live playing or programming with any detail or nuance.
Though it probably depends on your style of music/playing/etc.
Even that otherwise **wonderful** new Buchla 700-ish iPad thing - it should be a best use case for multitouch, but I've found I need to map external controllers to it to even create patches, let alone play it.
I do fantasize about multiple tiny touch-pens strapped to my fingertips as a solution, but I'm sure the reality would provide only unintentional comedy.
I would have sold my soul for a multitouch Zebra or Bazille a few years ago. Now I just image someday having a a room with hundreds of encoders and motarized faders controlling it ;-).

I have very good control with touchable, I can build my own controller like on lemur. It’s much better to use faders and x/y pads than the knobs in Bitwig.
I hardly use Bitwig, because I prefer ableton. But on touchable I have to rebuild the Synths or the preferred controlls, so it’s more easy for me to add my iPad Pro as fourth monitor via Duett.
Than I can use the gui of the synth directly which is working on TAL Audio synths very well.
I also have a win 10 notebook with mutlitouch and therefor I can also use touchable and it’s working well with Bitwig if I use my notebook outside of my studio. But my preferred solution is my iPad near my push2 controller to play and touch the synth directly - it’s a very fast solution to get full access and is more precise than the 8 knobs from push2, if the synth like Tal Jupiter supports Multitouch.
In diva I can only use one knob / fader and it’s very unprecise compared to the mouse.

Is anyone really demanding a stand alone version for u-he synths ? There are free hosts which can make every VST to standalone
