no worries, and tbf I was warned it could take 24 hours. A lot of these guys whether it be AAS, Arturia, UVI etc have servers that go to shit on the day of a major releaseeveryPlugin.com wrote: Wed Apr 28, 2021 7:14 amSame was for anybody else. Keep in mind, the A80 still has an unfixed confirmed bug by IK which sometimes distorts on certain material (eg. 808 bass). More info about that in the GS thread.
Also the 80 has a big bass shelf, which makes me less use it on the mixbus. But anyway, all 4 are fine. Have been using them where they fit best. 440 certainly has a low-fi feeling

Bought the A80 today and already using it, though this is not the kind of thing I would slap on the master bus. Instead I worked it into a track as an Aux channel, got it setup and then I've been sending small bits of different instruments to it, including automating the sends up and down with different macro dynamics of the song (ie: things ramp up for the crescendo / cool off in the breakdown etc). The biggest Wow Moment was a stem of string layers... it just smoothed out the harshness and highlighted the good stuff - magic.dermage wrote: Wed Apr 28, 2021 7:34 am Keep in mind, the A80 still has an unfixed confirmed bug by IK which sometimes distorts on certain material (eg. 808 bass). I've got True Stereo on but I'm not sure about the Transport - don't think I like the way it affects the stability of the sound - although it is a REALLY cool feature. Will definitely be good for something I don't want to sound static and stable, though, ie something lofi. I appreciate IKM emulating it, because there's a lot of "tape saturators" around that simply just add pitch modulation ("wow and flutter"), produce harmonics and impose a frequency curve - but to my knowledge these IKM tapes are the only plugins that actually mimick the subtle shifts (movement) in frequency response as the tape actually travels around. Very cool. Love the inclusion of the 'Input' mode too. They also have very good oversampling as, according to Plugindoctor, they practically refuse to alias. Good work IKM. Actually got to use my JamPoints for 30% off without much fuss too. I have my eye on another one if the sale continues.

Scroll down to the "Wählen Sie Ihre Wunschprämie aus" section and click "Weitere Prämien anzeigen" until the button disappears.
It used to be that there were different rewards for the 1 and 2 year subscriptions. Looks like now rewards are only available for the 1 year subscription.

Thanks. Looks like it's only for the 1 year print subs also. Digital subs don't get the gift.quietzone wrote: Wed Apr 28, 2021 1:19 pmhttps://www.falkemedia-shop.de/sound/be ... ?#premiumschrisstiles wrote: Wed Apr 28, 2021 11:42 amHow do you know what they offer with which sub?chk071 wrote: Tue Apr 27, 2021 10:07 amI got Reveal Sound Spire with a 69 € 1-year subscription, so, I can't really confirm that...nathanj wrote: Tue Apr 27, 2021 9:46 am Isn’t it beat magazine that pulls that crap with the subscription where they offer something that seems too good to be true and then make you choose something else instead?

About the new Harrison v7 (which I don't need myself). License transfer isn't possible, but according to the following message there's a workaround:
I received a mail with upgrade/crossgrade options so that might be interesting. Anyone else already did this with previous versions perhaps? And what would be a reasonable price to ask?
https://forum.harrisonconsoles.com/thread-8914.htmlYour best option is to wait until you get an "upgrade coupon" for the next version, and give or sell that coupon to someone else. They can license the new version in their name.
