It seems their catalogue the past couple of years has been them stripping out components from Tassman and making macro plugins out of them, or making slightly superficial updated for their older shit. Eh, whatever..i still get a lot of use out of Tassman so can't really complain. This doesn't sound particularly attention grabbing either![]()
Applied Accoustic Systems has a modular now I guess

i dont understand all this AAS bashing,i own voltage and softube modular, i tried and purchased multiphonics, the sound is good, the cpu load is light, the GUI is simple and smart, the price is really low for a really modular synth ok we need some new modules, but hey it s V1 ! i have done a few solid patch !
time for me to leave KVR.Bye bye ! 03/2022

I guess the offer depends on what you already have. Of what AAS has, I'm only missing those 3 upgrades (so I've earlier version of Modelling Collection: https://www.applied-acoustics.com/modeling-collection/) and the new modular synth. As I said, I was really surprised because each of those 3 upgrades costs $79 by itself
But I won't complain, obviously

I had pretty much exactly the same $69 offer. Basically, I hadn't bought the V2 to V3 updates. Fortunately, they had not updated anything else, or it would have cost more.

I also had the $69 offer despite owning everything else at the latest version! pays to not update and wait...but that's true for all software pretty much!

Listen to 55:00+ in this video.
It's surprisingly capable taking into account the number & specs of the modules! I really hope an FX version + new oscillators & filters are coming!

It's basically the resonator part of Chromaphone, so if you've got the modeling collection that should give you a pretty good point of comparison. It could certainly be useful if you ever feel restricted by Chromaphone's fixed signal path.felis wrote: Thu Apr 29, 2021 2:31 pm I've got Modeling collection, but not Objeq delay, and my upgrade price is listed as $139.
I also was an early buyer of Tassman.
Is that delay really something special?

Isn't the more crucial difference that one is an instrument, and the other an effect?FrogsInPants wrote: Thu Apr 29, 2021 2:56 pmIt's basically the resonator part of Chromaphone, so if you've got the modeling collection that should give you a pretty good point of comparison. Maybe you could update the title of thread as there's no question about it.dumbledog wrote: Tue Apr 27, 2021 2:18 am https://www.applied-acoustics.com/multiphonics-cv-1/
Looks like ~35 modules, Richard Devine patches as required by Synth Law.
80 bux for an intro price. No working link to the manual yet.
