It seems their catalogue the past couple of years has been them stripping out components from Tassman and making macro plugins out of them, or making slightly superficial updated for their older shit. Eh, whatever..i still get a lot of use out of Tassman so can't really complain. This doesn't sound particularly attention grabbing either

I guess the offer depends on what you already have. Of what AAS has, I'm only missing those 3 upgrades (so I've earlier version of Modelling Collection: https://www.applied-acoustics.com/modeling-collection/) and the new modular synth. As I said, I was really surprised because each of those 3 upgrades costs $79 by itself :D

But I won't complain, obviously :)

I had pretty much exactly the same $69 offer. Basically, I hadn't bought the V2 to V3 updates. Fortunately, they had not updated anything else, or it would have cost more.

I also had the $69 offer despite owning everything else at the latest version! pays to not update and wait...but that's true for all software pretty much!

Listen to 55:00+ in this video.

It's surprisingly capable taking into account the number & specs of the modules! I really hope an FX version + new oscillators & filters are coming!

I've got Modeling collection, but not Objeq delay, and my upgrade price is listed as $139.
I also was an early buyer of Tassman.

Is that delay really something special?

I prefer the sound of CV-1 over Voltage Modulars starter package. It’s way quicker to get a patch going too.

It's basically the resonator part of Chromaphone, so if you've got the modeling collection that should give you a pretty good point of comparison. It could certainly be useful if you ever feel restricted by Chromaphone's fixed signal path.

Isn't the more crucial difference that one is an instrument, and the other an effect?

Looks like ~35 modules, Richard Devine patches as required by Synth Law.

80 bux for an intro price. No working link to the manual yet.
Maybe you could update the title of thread as there's no question about it.

Is there any way to make it Polyphonic?

I think you have to do it as if it were hardware.
