Have Mulab 8. In a Rack I have a Phaser-effect under the Instrument. How to gate this effect?
In the automation track I did not find an On/Off-Parameter...
Gating an effect in a rack

See the Effects -> Others ->Play FX and the Effects -> Multi-FX -> Live Effects presets.
They're both based on the Audio Dispatcher module, see the video below.
I think the "Play FX" preset may suit best in this case. Then remove the effect on the C key and use that as a bypass. The D key already has a phaser effect, but of course you can insert any other phaser or any other effect there.

You can also make a MUX patch with a dry/wet mixer between the phaser and pure audio, and then automate the dry/wet knob.

Works perfectly! I Made simple tempate based on the solution...
