Man, I really like the IK products that I own (Syntronik Deluxe, Modo Drum lite) but the way they market their stuff is so confusing to me. Seems like T-RackS 5 Max doesn't include the T-RackS tape machines (which makes 'Max' a misleading name, if you ask me). And then I see they have something called T-RackS Custom Shop too? I'm getting a headache reading the product page, lol.

It is confusing, but it's because when they launch the max products they only include the products around on launch day so the T-RackS tape machines bundle came out after the T-RackS 5 Max product so isn't included. See also, Total Studio 2 Max which doesn't include MODO Drum, SampleTank 4 content etc.

Which is why I’ll probably never buy another IK product and put the money I would have spent on a Total Max upgrade if it wasn’t such a high price towards converting my Melda products into MeldaComplete. Now whenever Melda releases a new product I will automatically own it.

It's more like a greedy company with pathetic customer "service" policies that are costing them business everyday.

Just a heads up that I am seeing minor updates for AIR Music Vacuum Pro and Loom II in my Plugin Boutique account. It could be compatibility updates and it is possible that other plugins got updated too, but I am not seeing any info or change history anywhere on their website. Best to check your PB account "My Updates" section if you bought AIR plugins through them. The PB download area is apparently not yet updated.

Plenty of folks complain about NI.

Not seen any official NI staff refer to failings of IK though, so that's a first for you guys. IK First!

TBH I can see why the complete bundles from both companies lack the latest, as unlike subscriptions they don't get automatically and instantly updated.

NI is forcing a strawman comparison. Melda with MCompleteBundle and Rob Papen with Explorer seem to manage to add later released products into their 'everything' bundles easily enough.
