Let's put an end to those discussions about how well Bitwig's model works for spreading the (potential) renewals, shall we?

Hm yeah this round doesn't seem to be too fair... Ok we have Corona, right? But we also have Apple changing the base once again, and so far the vast majority is not benefiting from those changes at all
One solution: There could be separate macos intel and macos arm builds of Bitwig. And the arm version will cost 20% more for the next 2 years... Or the intel build + win + linux 20% less
You know, ARM mac users for sure don't care so much for money...

Me too. It seems although I ran out in December/January I've had access to all the updates on 3.3.x.arrakeen wrote: Fri May 07, 2021 12:58 pm Mines been out since December, but I already have a code stashed for when I need it.

That's because x.y.* updates are available for anyone that owns x.y version, regardless of the plan being active or not. It's nothing new.ChamomileShark wrote: Fri May 07, 2021 1:17 pmMe too. Because if your plan has already expired, there's no telling which month it will expire in the future because that the depends on when you're gonna renew it

I am quite surprised almost half the users have an expired plan, it shows how important it is for the Bitwig Dev's to release an update with broad appeal (features considered important by most) so that people upgrade. This is of course assuming that they are somewhat driven by revenue and not just making what they personally enjoy...although in a way I could respect that!

Were June and November both times there was a release (sounds about right!)
